According to any SEO specialist’s experience, today we know that backlinks definitely play the most important role in SEO. As for SEO items, we know that we can optimize site speed to a particular extent. Or we can optimize landing page content to a certain extent. But there is no limit for backlinks and the “page rank.” We always emphasize to our customers that “creating backlinks” is an essential procedure in SEO that should never be stopped.
Which type of link building is ideal?
If you search Google for types of backlinks that SEO specialists create, you will see many different kinds, such as site-wide backlinks or backlinks in press releases, or anything like that. But it’s clear that if we really want to transfer that so-called “page rank” or “link juice” to our website, the backlink should have some characteristics that show Google that the backlink is reliable. These features are:
- The backlink should be created by a real visitor or user. I mean, Google must believe that the backlink is not a “paid” one. On the other hand, Google should get the signal that the backlink is created by an ordinary customer. So we should be cautious about link building anchor texts and… here.
- The backlink shouldn’t be temporary. My experience has repeatedly indicated that as the backlink gets older, its effect gets stronger. Unfortunately, there are quite a few services where backlinks are bought for a certain period, and as they expire, this is a strong red flag to Google which may lead to algorithmic penalties.
- The backlink should be placed in related and meaningful content. So, backlinks in sidebars or footers are not considered “natural” by Google. Furthermore, since many ordinary people are not totally familiar with anchor texts, we should consider quite a few different anchor texts, like naked anchor text, URLs, branded ones and so on. There are many more features that we need to consider while building links. The items above are just a few examples that we need to consider.

Preparing Backlink Tables
Once your website is analyzed by us, you need to set up a backlink table. Note that each landing page has some keywords. Let’s divide all keywords into two categories: main keywords and sub-keywords.
The main keywords are the main keywords you are trying to rank for. For example, you may say this landing page has three main keywords or my homepage has five main keywords. It’s obvious that most landing pages have at least two or three keywords. In this part, you should include all of your main keywords and in the cell next to it, simply write the URL of the corresponding landing page, like the image below:

But remember that there are some keywords which may not be your main target. Furthermore, an important thing in link building is to have a totally diverse link-building profile. So we also need to include these keywords as well, as shown below:

Note: You can use Google Search Console to extract the main and sub-keywords for each landing page. Just select the page in Google Search Console, and you can simply get a good list of your related keywords for that specific landing page.

What We’re Gonna Do Next
As we just referred to, there is no limit to the number of keywords and URLs. For example, your website may have 20 landing pages, and each landing page may have 10 keywords. So we’re going to have 200 links in this case. We simply send these links to our content creation team to create related, meaningful content and use these links in the content. It’s obvious that more than half of the links are going to be from the main keywords rather than sub-keywords.
After the content is created, we send the content to our first link-building team to create the Tier 1 links to your website. As we mentioned earlier, all these backlinks are created manually and exactly like real visitors sharing their views about your website. Next, we’ll send the report to both you and our Tier 2 creation team.
The next team is responsible for creating Tier 2 backlinks to the Tier 1 links. This is the second layer, and the third team will make backlinks for Tier 2 links. We’re not going to give you any report of these steps; however, you may find some of them in your Search Console.
